Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management

Experience

    • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Trading or Export/Import, Indenting Firm, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and labor practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Responsibilities & Context

Maritime Entrepreneurs Pte. Ltd. (MEPL) is seeking a proactive and experienced HR professional to join as Assistant Manager – Human Resources. The role will support end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR initiatives to ensure smooth workforce management and organizational growth.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including job posting, screening, interviews, and selection
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements
  • Ensure timely hiring and onboarding of new employees

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Handle employee relations matters and maintain a positive work environment
  • Organize employee engagement programs, motivational activities, and internal events
  • Support initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction

HR Operations and Administration

  • Oversee HR documentation including appointment letters, NOCs, approvals, and HR notices
  • Maintain employee records and HR database accurately
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal procedures

Training and Development

  • Support training programs and employee development initiatives
  • Coordinate internal training sessions and performance improvement activities
  • Assist in identifying training needs across departments

Compensation and Attendance Management

  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and payroll inputs using HR systems
  • Support compensation review and benefits administration
  • Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting

Organizational Support

  • Assist management in HR strategy implementation
  • Support inter-departmental coordination and HR-related decision making
  • Contribute to improving HR processes and efficiency
