- Technical Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Vocational Training in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Engineering Firms, Real Estate, Training Institutes
Additional Requirements
- Age 18 to 40 years
- Only Male
- Relevant work experience in HVAC or refrigeration maintenance will be preferred.
- HVAC Technician Certification.
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trade Certificate
- Occupational Health & Safety Training Certificate
- Sound knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with refrigerants, recovery procedures, and safety practices.
- Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.* Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance schedules.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Physically fit to perform maintenance and repair activities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Install, commission, and test air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Inspect and service compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, thermostats, and fan motors.
- Conduct refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Replace defective parts and components as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks.
