Job Context

We are looking for a competent and proactive Installation Engineer (UPS) to manage and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure uninterrupted power for critical operations. The position involves real-time monitoring, preventive maintenance, and quick troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The selected candidate will work closely with operation, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure system reliability, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced operational environment. The Installation Engineer (UPS) is responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems. The role ensures continuous power availability, coordinates maintenance activities, and supports operational continuity by addressing power-related technical issues efficiently.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Install portable power stations, battery packs, inverters, and related accessories as per technical specifications.
  • Perform AC/DC wiring in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Configure systems, conduct commissioning, and verify performance after installation.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess power requirements, and evaluate installation feasibility.
  • Prepare installation plans, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor UPS systems to ensure continuous operation.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing.
  • Troubleshoot faults and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Maintain logs of system performance, maintenance, and incidents.
  • Coordinate with vendors/service providers for repair and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and operational procedures.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
