  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Garments Industry, Bags and Luggage·
  • Experienced in Bags and Luggage factory with IE Based cutting, planning and execution related work·
  • Good Communication in Bangla & English & interpersonal skills, self-motivated.·
  • Good Counseling capability.·
  • The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have a good personality.·
  • Proficient in MS Office Package.·
  • Ability to work under pressure and should be a team player.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Able to prepare cutting plan for 25 to 30 lines bags and luggage factory according to order sheet and approve sample
  • Able to run cutting activities based on Industrial Engineering (IE)
  • Ensure cutting preparation as per CAD, Pattern and Marker specification.
  • Collect cutting plan, conduct pre-activities, review PO sheet / order sheet, sample and trim card and co-ordination with merchandising dept.
  • Must follow PO wise and Country wise shipment schedule and confirm cutting plan accordingly.
  • Make sure proper line feeding, conduct 3P and risk assessment.
  • Plan wise receive cutting materials from warehouse and ensure proper relaxation.
  • Perform trial cutting and take proper approval before bulk cutting
  • Ensure timely input to sewing section with proper co-ordination with planning and production team.
  • Prepare proper style closing report and send to planning dept. accordingly.
  • Ensure buyer compliance issue and 5S at all time.
  • Attend Daily cutting morning meeting and review performance.
  • Prepare Training and development plan for the department members to Improve technical skill of the department members.
  • Introduce new technology, concepts, machinery, and tools for department to increase efficiencies and productivity.
  • Ensure 100% floor compliance and zero tolerance on harassment and abuse
  • Monthly and Annual manpower budgeting
  • Annual cutting capacity budgeting
