Education

  • Higher Secondary
  • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent. National Certificate Course (NCC) or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.

Experience

    • 2 to 4 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Resort

Additional Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the respective section within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort.

Skills:

  • Team player with leadership skills and a positive attitude.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
  • Basic English speaking and reporting ability.
  • Appearance & Personality: Must have a professional appearance, be well-groomed, and maintain a disciplined, positive, and calm personality suitable for a high-pressure kitchen environment.

Responsibilities & Context

Grand Sultan Tea Resort & Golf, a leading five-star luxury resort in Bangladesh, invites applications from dynamic and service-oriented professionals to join our F&B Production Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring smooth food preparation and service delivery.
  • Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety standards to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience.
  • Supervise and guide Commis staff, ensuring proper mise-en-place, teamwork, and adherence to kitchen procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimize wastage, and coordinate with senior chefs regarding stock requirements and quality control.
  • Maintain HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety standards while supporting special events, buffet operations, and other kitchen activities as required.
