Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Professional qualification CA (CC/Part-Qualified/Qualified).
  • ACCA part completed

Experience

    • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread), Beverage, Food (Packaged), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Requirements

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Accounts to lead and manage all accounting functions of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective control over financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Accounts team and ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Monitor financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Support business decisions through financial analysis and reporting.
