Requirements
Education
DOLV/MLOP/B.Sc. in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing or relevant health science qualification.
Specialized ophthalmic OT training will be an added advantage.
Experience
3 to 5 years
Additional Requirements
Age 18 to 35 years
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of OT infection control and sterilization standards.
Ability to work under pressure.Good communication and reporting skills.
Computer literacy is preferred.
Responsibilities & Context
SKS Eye Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced OT In-Charge to supervise the daily operation of the Operation Theatre, maintain infection control standards, and ensure smooth coordination of ophthalmic surgical procedures.
Supervise the daily activities of the Operation Theatre.
Prepare OT for ophthalmic surgeries.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists, anesthetists, nurses, and OT staff.
Ensure sterilization and infection prevention protocols are maintained.
Manage OT equipment, surgical instruments, and consumables.
Maintain OT schedules and documentation.
Monitor stock and coordinate procurement requirements.
Ensure patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
Train and supervise OT personnel.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
