Education
Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial / Production / Mechanical Engineering
Master of Business Management (MBM) in Operations Management
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production, Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Operations Management
Publication in recognized academic or industry journals will be considered an added advantage
Graduation preferably Post-Graduation
Experience
At least 7 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Automobile, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Additional Requirements
Age 30 to 85 years
Demonstrated ability to build and lead technical teams while advising senior management and board-level stakeholders
Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills
Willingness to be based at or frequently visit factory sites as required
Publication in recognized academic or industry journals will be considered an added advantage

Job Context
A leading engineering-sector manufacturing company in Bangladesh is undertaking a comprehensive feasibility assessment to modernize its production and factory operations through AI-enabled quality inspection and equipment monitoring.
The company invites applications from experienced operations professionals to lead the assessment of production quality, defect patterns, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement opportunities across its manufacturing floor.
Job Responsibilities
Assess current production and inspection processes across assembly stations and identify OEE improvement opportunities
Evaluate the frequency, location, and root causes of product defects and rework across production lines
Review existing manual inspection practices and recommend automation and process-control improvements
Map end-to-end production and inspection workflows, from parts receipt through final approval
Advise on integrating AI-enabled quality inspection into existing production and quality-control systems
Prepare a feasibility report with findings and recommendations for senior management and the Board
