Bachelor/Honors
Minimum Bachelor`s/Graduate degree from any recognized institution.
However, candidates with strong and relevant practical experience in the Steel Industry, particularly in Rod, Steel & Sectional Items, may be considered with a minimum HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Steel

Candidates with practical experience in digital weighing scale operation and scale software will be preferred.
Experience in a Steel Industry / Steel Factory, particularly involving Rod, Metal and Sectional Items, is mandatory.
Direct experience in operating digital weighing scales and scale software.
Ability to accurately measure weight and perform real-time data entry into computer/software.
Good knowledge of weighing procedures for Rod, Metal and other steel products.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good computer literacy and data-entry skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and handle operational responsibilities carefully.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy during busy operational periods.
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline and operational efficiency.

Job Context
Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Madanpur Unit Ltd. is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Scale Operator to operate digital weighing scales and related scale software at the godown. The selected candidate will be responsible for accurate weighing of Rod, Metal and other steel products, preparation of delivery-related documents, data entry, and coordination with the concerned teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations.
Job Responsibilities
Operate the digital weighing scale and related scale software efficiently and accurately.
Perform accurate weighing of Rod, Metal and other steel products and ensure proper recording of product weight.
Enter weighing and delivery-related data into the designated computer/software accurately and in real time.
Prepare local programs and delivery challans and process required online challans through the designated system/software.
Perform weighing operations while preparing delivery challans and D.O. (Delivery Order) accurately and on time.
Coordinate with the Local Marketing and District Marketing teams regarding delivery requirements through phone communication.
Discuss and confirm the required Rod/Steel product sizes with the concerned marketing personnel before delivery.
When the delivery vehicle arrives, verify the customer/party and designated materials to ensure the correct goods are dispatched to the appropriate party.
Coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure smooth weighing, documentation and dispatch operations.
Maintain accurate records of weighing, challans, D.O.s and other delivery-related information.
Ensure proper handling and weighing of materials according to operational requirements.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all weighing, documentation and data-entry activities.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery operations.
Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
