Requirements
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance
- Post-graduation in Accounting/Finance, Master’s in Business Administration (Major in Accounting/Finance/ Accounting Information System)
- Preference will be given to CA (CC)

- Should have practical experience in FD-6, FD-3, FD-2, FD-7, FC-1 preparation and approval process
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural office environment
- Financial & Audit related Report Writing Capability
- Must be good in English Language
- Basic managerial capacity to build and manage a team and to work with and without top-down supervision
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
Humanitarian Organization Shishu Polli Plus (a project of “The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh”) which is situated in Sreepur of Gazipur District is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Senior Coordinator (Accounts) for it’s Accounts Section.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the overall financial activities of Shishu Polli Plus
- Collecting and checking all bill vouchers of expenses and providing necessary entry on relevant software (Tally/Xero books/QuickBooks), Providing distance accounting support to UK Office
- Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly Budget Preparation, controlling the cost and analysis of Cost for future plan of execution
- Preparing different financial statements (Cash Journal, ledger, balance sheet and other financial Reports) and preparing necessary reports for Donor (foreign & local), NGO Affairs Bureau and any other stakeholders
- Managing the collected Local & Foreign Fund
- Managing Salary Disbursement, PF, GF and Medical Support of Staffs
- Dealing with associated banks and handling External audit
- Handling Trusty Board Members queries, all relevant activities of NGO Affairs Bureau, UNO office, DC Office, External Audit Farm, etc.
- Preparing/Revising and taking approval of FD-6, FD-3, FD-2, FD-7, FC-1 and taking necessary initiative for collecting UNO certification, NGO Affairs Bureau’s Certification and other necessary certifications of the Organization
- Calculation and Payment of VAT/TAX on transactions, payment of staff annual Tax Return
- Preparing the budget part of the project proposal and cooperating with other sections in project proposal writing
- Stand in for the Project Coordinator as and when required
- Any other responsibilities required by the Job position
