Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Preferred Professional Certification: ICAB Certificate level qualified,ACCA part qualified will be preferred

Experience

  • 4 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    University, College, Group of Companies

Responsibilities & Context

  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis, as and when necessary, and submitting the reports on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Daily accounting of income, expenses, acknowledging payment receipts, bank reconciliation, payroll, etc.
  • Ability to manage a large volume of petty cash transactions as well as administration.
  • Assisting in preparing statutory financial statements and reporting.
  • Processing operational bills ensures compliance with company-established and applicable VAT and tax laws in Bangladesh.
  • Recording transactions in the accounting software. Maintaining ledgers and records in a systematic way.
  • Reconciling payable ledgers with vendors Maintaining regular correspondence with corporate offices and banks for regular transactions.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations for all operational banks on a monthly basis. Prepare and update the report as per the instructions from the higher management.
  • Scheduling training, meetings, appointments, etc.
  • Assisting the reporting senior in the successful implementation of operational activities as assigned and performing ad hoc job requirements as assigned by the senior.
