Responsibilities & Context

We, one of the leading fashion e-commerce brand in Bangladesh, are looking for a “Senior Fashion Designer” for the Group. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results

1. Experience in working with a minimum 2 renowned fashion brands,
2. Ensure timely and efficacious design and development of products in line with customers’ requirements.
3. Understanding different types of fabric, construction and other technical aspects.
4. Creating tech packs with detailed specifications and overseeing the prototype sample process.
5. Sound knowledge in fashion designing, according to fashion & market trends, sourcing etc.
6. Researching current fashion trends; forecasting and determining consumer demand.
7. Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
8. Creating clothing patterns for mass production.
9. Testing and deciding on fabrics, trims, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
10. Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models.
11. Working with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
12. Creating cost sheets and product lists.
13. Develop and implement the overall design strategy in alignment with the brand’s vision and market position.
14. Oversee the sourcing of materials and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality and price.
