Responsibilities & Context
Design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to point up maximum efficiency using IE method/tools and monitor head to head costing and cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage.
Lead IE team with modern IE tools and method.
New project initiatives, capacity utilization and increase productivity.
Man power planning and ensure the sustaining systems are in place and benchmark organizations and build peer to peer learning network with drive all plans.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Formulate production plan based on machine, manpower, study the m/c layout to achieve the optimum productivity and order allocation in sewing lines based on SMV on a regular basis.
Study the workers efficiency and identify their strength & weakness to enhance their skills.
Systematic group planning and execution of total production flow as well as balancing the production lines to ensure optimum capacity utilization.
Ensure effective utilization of company resource.
Utilize time study and motion study and idle man, machine hours on daily basis and monitor monthly projection & labor cost analysis.
Monitor Set base target, semi-critical & critical operations, ensure the implementation of line and special incentive policy and reviewing production plan with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment target.
Monitor workers’ assessment report (quarterly) to use the same for personal and organizational development or improvement.
Cause study against low production & collect lost time against low production and clarify standard operational break down to production people and train workers with easy & distinctive methods to develop skilled workforce and initiate skill test for ongoing operators.
Maintain an excellent co-ordination with production planning team and generate substitute quality team & other production support team to ensure quality production & on time shipment and communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
Walkthroughs from time to time in the factory premises with a view to monitoring safety procedures & customer quality standards.
Evaluate and perform investigation on all variances for all planned and actual results for industrial processes and maintain track of all information and ensure integrity of all results for processes.
Plan layout of machines and lines to get highest productivity using IE method/tools.
Identify & remove causes of delay production to meet shipment dates Operational Bulletin and competitive consumption (SMV Calculation) ensure the average efficiency as per company.
Goals analysis of low production & collect lost time against low production and clarify monitor line wise production report by hourly output basis Study individual operator’s performance and follow up unskilled operators.
Strong ability on Supply chain/ backward linkage management and able to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
