Position: Officer, Procurement and Logistics
Location: Head Office, Dhaka

Since its formation, CNRS has been active in this field and has drawn the attention of relevant local, national, and international actors including government and funding agencies by demonstrating innovations in its approaches and producing tangible learning outcomes.
- Part I: Job Statement
- The primary responsibility of the Officer, Procurement and Logistics is to work closely to ensure the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services as required while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Part II: Job Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop a clear understanding of procurement policies and practices.
- Supporting the implementation of procurement processes and procedures, following organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Conducting market assessments to identify potential suppliers and to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiations, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible price.
- Supporting the preparation of procurement reports and budgets, in coordination with other departments.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, particularly following customs and taxation.
- Supporting the compliance of internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets.
- Collect quotations from prospective suppliers/vendors based on the modality and nature of procurement.
- Keep close liaison with field offices to accomplish timely procurements.
- Develop an understanding on donor compliances as required for procurement.
- Support the process of vendor enlistment and prepare guidance/process documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management.
- Safeguarding Responsibility
- Ensure safety and well-being of team members and participants.
- Promote and endorse safeguarding policy among staff.
- Follow reporting procedures for incidents and encourage others to do so
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Salary: BDT 55,290/- (including all admissible benefits as per CNRS PayScale, upon service confirmation)
