Responsibilities & Context
Alliance for cooperation and legal aid Bangladesh (ACLAB) is a national NGO working in Bangladesh for the past 35 years in the development sector is looking for the below-mentioned position in Bhasanchar.
Project: Support to FDMN in Cox’s Bazar and Bhasanchar in the Education and WASH sector.
Supported by: BRAC, Pooled fund.
Working Station: 100% at Bhasanchar, Rohingya camp, Hatiya, Noakhali.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular field visits to cluster monitor & support overall hygienic environment and cleanliness of sanitation services. Take necessary measures for rectification with support from the beneficiary community.
- Ensure participation of beneficiary communities in the program implementation process and seek their commitment to future maintenance.
- Extensively support Hygiene Promoters/Volunteers (HP) field staff in the delivery of effective community awareness including the adoption of best practices and proven approaches.
- Facilitate on-the-job training to build capacity of field staff/volunteers on hygiene promotion activities and dissemination of hygiene promotion sessions.
- Validate the relevance of the hygiene awareness related messages considering cultural sensitivity, religious and adaptable the capacity of the beneficiary community.
- Communicate with local stakeholders to find efficient and effective solutions to hygiene-related problems on the ground.
- Reporting documentation and coordination.
Compensation & Other Benefits
- Monthly salary BDT 40,000.00 consolidated including AIT. Other benefits will be applicable as per project budget.
