Requirements

Education

Additional Requirements

Responsibilities & Context

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Smart Grid Consulting Projects team within the Power Sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with a basic understanding of smart grid technologies and solutions. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio would give a candidate an edge. A degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and/or an MBA being considered advantageous, with additional qualifications such as PMP certification an added bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage smart grid consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization and project success.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other relevant documents.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress, issues, and successes to senior management and clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
