Responsibilities & Context

Job description:

The Restaurant general Manager is the No.1 leader. The Restaurant Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Assists in management of day-to-day operations by managing labour, counting inventory and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
  • Analysis sales, labour, inventory and controllable on a continual basis, and takes corrective action to meet or achieve daily or weekly margin and sales growth targets.
  • Ensures that facility and equipment are maintained to company standards on a day-to-day basis.
  • Supervises others efficiently and coordinates their work.
  • Assists in management of day-to-day operations by scheduling labour, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
  • Ensures health and safety compliances, and company safety and security policies.
  • Assists Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labour, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.
