Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare all kinds of export documents as per LC/SC terms & conditions.
- Co-ordinate with logistics as well as CNF to ensure smooth export/import activates.
- Keep a record and prepare all types of statement/reports relating to export /import and any other.
- Checking the HS code and other details of the Sales Contract/ Proforma Invoice.
- Export & Import plans should be prepared and implemented accordingly.
- Prepare packing list by collecting information from packing department.
- Correspond with buyer, CNF and shipping line independently.
- Regular communication with bank regarding export & import documents.
- Co-ordinate with all section of commercial department (Export, Import, Customs, bank, Audit, Incentive, BEPZA, EPB ETC)
- Prepare all necessary documents for yearly customs audit/cash incentives.
- Follow up / Track (by online) all Shipments. (Export / Import)
- Prepare import permission (IP), Export permission (EP), extension, amendment through BEPZA Automation system.
- Keeping Customs-related documents and Files to Customs-related Commercial persons for yearly customs audit purposes.
- Prepare all necessary documents for local import/purchase.
- Work with government office for any kind of documents.
- Ensure timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificates (PRC) from Lien bank.
- Submit shipping documents to customs stations on time. Handle customs processes, export clearance, and documentation in compliance with BEPZA rules.
- Manage Bank documents forwarding papers as per EPZ rules and regulations.
- Ensure efficient logistics for import activities.
- Other activities related to job responsibilities.
