Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience

• 2 to 3 years

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 35 years

• (2-3) Years of relevant experience is preferable.

• Proficiency in database management systems in Microsoft SQL Server (or Oracle)·

• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring).

• Hands-on experience with SQL.

• Previous experience as a Database Developer/ Database maintenance role will be given added advantages.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes·

• Understanding the needs of front-end users and having a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities & Context

• Data synchronization checking for a distributed system·

• Regular Database health check.

• Fix database usage problems and malfunctions.

• Monitor Replication process.

• Create and update database documentation.

• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.

• Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until the solved a technical issue·

• Prepare accurate and timely reports
