Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

  • The Deputy Manager/Manager in Brand Communication is responsible for developing and implementing brand communication strategies that align with the company’s overall marketing and business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing creative campaigns, managing brand consistency, and ensuring effective communication across various channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and senior management teams to develop and refine the brand’s communication strategy.
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all communication channels and touchpoints.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, target audience preferences, and competitors’ branding efforts.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative brand campaigns that resonate with the target audience and reinforce the brand’s identity.
  • Work closely with creative teams (designers, copywriters, content creators) to develop compelling visuals, content, and storytelling elements for campaigns.
  • Create and review engaging and persuasive content for various communication channels, such as social media, website, print materials, and press releases.
  • Ensure all content maintains brand voice, style, and consistency.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and mentions for the brand.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, manage media inquiries, and coordinate interviews.
  • Manage the brand’s online presence, including social media platforms, by developing and executing content calendars and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor online conversations and respond to customer feedback and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of brand messaging across the organization.
  • Provide brand guidelines and training to employees to ensure consistent representation of the brand.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of brand communication efforts using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
  • Generate regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in creating and managing budgets for brand communication initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
