Job Summary: The Head of Education is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of high-quality technical training programs. This role involves managing the training department, ensuring that the curriculum aligns with the latest industry standards, and working closely with subject matter experts to provide relevant and impactful training to learners. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and experience in educational management, driving the growth and effectiveness of the training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Management:
Design, plan, and implement technical training programs that meet the needs of diverse learners and industry requirements.
Oversee curriculum development, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and innovations.
Work with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and comprehensive coverage of technical topics.
Evaluate and enhance existing training programs for continuous improvement.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor the education and training teams, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
Manage and allocate resources efficiently to support the success of all training programs.Ensure the team delivers training programs on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals, to ensure training programs align with market needs.
Build and maintain relationships with training providers, vendors, and partners for the delivery of specialized content.
Quality Assurance & Evaluation:
Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs and learner outcomes.
Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and relevance of the training.
Monitor and analyze training program data to identify areas for improvement and report on program performance.
Strategic Planning:Develop a long-term strategy for the training department, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology and education, integrating them into the training curriculum.
Marketing & Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote technical training programs to potential clients and learners.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, seminars, and events to showcase the training programs.
Budget & Financial Management:
Develop and manage the budget for the education and training department.
Oversee cost control and ensure the financial sustainability of all training programs.
