Need to keep up-to-date on the latest government environmental regulations, as well as any new policies instituted by their employers, to ensure that rules continue to be followed
Oversee environmental compliance for companies.
Ensure Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to allow continual improvement, reduced risk, safe plant and equipment, safe systems of work and minimal impacts on the environment.
Ensure supervised employees know and understand the operational hazards, at risk/critical issues and behaviors and take them into account in the planning and execution of activities.
Communicate expectations and motivate, reinforce and support the right safety behavior.
Confront plant, equipment, systems, procedures and behavior issues and constructively resolve to prevent injury/ incidents and impacts to the environment.
Ensure the timely investigation and analysis of Health Safety and Environmental events/incidents and that corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
