Additional Requirements

- At least one valid networking vendor certificate from vendors like Cisco, Mikrotik, etc will get preference.
- Must be knowledgeable about network infrastructure solutions and how a system can operate.
- Must have proper knowledge about Layer-2 & Layer-3 technologies.
- Should have knowledge about network security & firewall technologies and how each security system works together.
- Should have knowledge about surveillance systems.
- Proficient in Wi-Fi, routing, and switching.
- Configure, troubleshoot and monitor routersMonitor internet connections for security risks.
- Monitor the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors.
- Excellent troubleshooting skill is a must.
- Configure, troubleshoot and monitor routers (e.g., MikroTik, Cisco, Bdcom), switches, and access points.
- Maintain monitoring tools like Graphana, Nagios, and Cacti.
- Should be an energetic, team player, and willing to learn new technologies.
- Availability to work after office hours to resolve emergency issues.
- Strong technical skills and understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Experience with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Technical Support:

Provide first-level technical support to employees, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve common IT problems, such as printer issues, software installations, and network connectivity problems.

Assist users with password resets, account creation, and access control.

Desktop and Laptop Support:
-
Maintain and support desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software installations, updates, and troubleshooting.

Configure and maintain user accounts and permissions.

Network Support:

Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting the company’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.

Software Support:

Install, configure, and maintain various software applications used by the company, including productivity tools, accounting software, and customer relationship management systems.

Help Desk Management:

Manage and prioritize incoming support requests through the help desk system.
