Additional Requirements
- 5+ years of experience (no exceptions) in full-stack development, specifically in Next.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and React.
- Strong understanding and experience with server-side rendering, Next.js app router, and API development.
- Proven experience building and maintaining multi-tenant applications.
- Mastery of Tailwind CSS for creating responsive, modern UIs.
- Experience with AI integrations, especially with OpenAI and LangChain.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own entire features from start to finish.
- Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail. You will work directly with the CTO and be trusted with high-level decisions.
Preferred
- Open-source contributions or proven experience in building scalable SaaS applications.
- Experience with WhatsApp API integrations.
- Familiarity with Bun runtime environment is a plus.

About Candoa
Candoa is a fast-growing U.S.-based startup building an AI-powered customer service chatbot SaaS that integrates with WhatsApp. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer to work directly with the CTO.
If you do not have more than 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience in the required technologies, this role is not for you.
We are only looking for the best.
This position requires you to be the go-to person, taking full ownership of the development process from end to end. You will be responsible for leading technical decisions, building key features, and driving innovation.
Responsibilities & Context
- Full ownership of features and modules, from architecture to deployment and beyond.
- Lead the development of full-stack applications using Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
- Build APIs, design scalable databases, and ensure optimal backend performance.
- Work with modern frontend technologies, including React, Tailwind CSS, and Chadcn UI.
- Implement AI integrations using OpenAI and LangChain.
- Be the primary point of contact for all technical decisions, collaborating directly with the CTO.
- Ensure security, performance, and scalability, especially with multi-tenant applications.
- Take complete ownership of features, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time).
