WordPress Expertise: Extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in PHP: Strong knowledge of PHP, with experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Front-end Development: Strong knowledge of vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Figma to HTML conversion: Ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress pages.
API Development & Integration: Experience with RESTful API development and custom API integration into WordPress.
Database Management: Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and query performance tuning.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git for managing code and collaborating with other developers.
Plugin Development: Experience with WordPress subscription, membership, or payment plugin development.
Third-Party Integrations: Familiarity with integrating CRMs, payment gateways, and analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:Strong understanding of SEO and website optimization for performance.
Debugging & Problem-Solving: Experience in addressing technical challenges and troubleshooting efficiently.

Responsibilities & Context

Manshir is a startup focused on building innovative web applications. We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with deep experience in WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript to join our team. You will work closely with our UI designer to bring the platform to life, and our Product Manager will guide the development process to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive websites on WordPress to meet project requirements and timelines.
Customize themes and plugins to enhance website functionality, ensuring the platform is tailored to our needs.
Ensure website optimization for performance, SEO, and user experience, including mobile responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues promptly to maintain a smooth user experience.Integrate third-party tools and plugins (e.g., CRMs, analytics tools, payment gateways) to extend functionality.
Collaborate with the UI designer to implement designs from Figma and translate them into functional web pages.
Develop custom APIs and integrate them with WordPress to enable dynamic content and services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, including SEO best practices and emerging WordPress capabilities.
