Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 26 years

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the garments or manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of local labor laws, social compliance standards, and international certification requirements (SLCP, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ISO, CTPAT, Higg FEM, etc.

Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Proven track record of managing compliance audits and implementing corrective action plans.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Must have very good command over writing and speaking.

Responsibilities & Context

• Assist in monitoring factory operations to ensure compliance with local laws, buyer requirements, and international standards (SLCP, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, CTPAT, Higg FEM, etc).

• Participate in internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with safety, labor, and environmental regulations.

• Help in maintaining compliance documentation and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible for audits.

• Assist in organizing and conducting compliance training programs for factory workers and staff to raise awareness about labor laws, health and safety standards, and ethical practices.

• Support in preparing reports on compliance audits, inspections, and non-compliance issues for senior management.

• Assist the compliance team in coordinating external audits and buyer inspections, and work on follow-ups and corrective action plans. 

• Ensure the proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the factory premises. 

• Help in identifying any potential risks or violations in the factory’s operations and escalate issues to the Manager Compliance. 

• Engage with workers to understand and address their compliance-related concerns. 

• Stay updated on changes in local labor laws and global compliance standards relevant to the garments industry.
