Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist) are highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a thorough understanding of exercise science, nutrition, and gym equipment maintenance, and the ability to provide personalized fitness plans and guidance.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a gym instructor in a commercial gym setting, demonstrating a proven track record in managing diverse client needs and ensuring client satisfaction. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a university gym setting.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse fitness classes tailored to various skill levels
- Create individualized workout plans based on user assessments
- Develop personalized diet charts to complement fitness goals.
- Provide general nutritional advice and resources to the users
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of gym equipment
- Enforce safety protocols and gym policies
- Assist in marketing gym programs and events through social media and campus communication channels
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning
- Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Build relationships with gym users to foster a supportive environment
- Gather and implement feedback for gym improvement
- Stay updated on fitness trends and instructional techniques
