Job Details
As the Chief Executive Officer of a leading life insurance company in Bangladesh, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and overall management of the organization under the guidance and supervision of the Board. The ideal candidate will ensure execution of the strategic and business plans, manage the business, risks, and compliance and maintain cordial relationships with all stakeholders and regulators. The CEO will play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth, profitability, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all business activities, supporting staff development, enhancing efficiency, driving sales and improving revenue, maintaining client relationships, enhancing the organization’s image, and achieving overall growth objectives to meet yearly business targets.
- Develop and communicate the company’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives – driving transformational agenda.
- Oversee the financial performance of the company, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
- Implement effective cost management strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Nurture and develop corporate relationships to ensure client acquisition and business retention.
- Lead the sales team by guiding and coaching them. Provide marketing-related information and follow up with them regarding proposals for business development and other requests.
- Allocate budget resources, formulate policies, and coordinate business operations.Review, monitor, and report on market and competitor’s activities and take necessary measures to revise plans.
- Oversee daily business operations, develop and implement growth strategies to improve revenue.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide credible and agile leadership to the Executive Leadership Team, ensuring that they actively participate, contribute to strategic thinking and implement the strategy.
- Develop a new customer base through appropriate propositions, ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customers. Keep constant contact with different corporate companies regarding company’s services.
- Identify areas of improvement in teams and processes and take necessary initiatives to bridge these gaps for delivery to long-term strategy. Enhance and protect the company’s brand by maintaining a positive public image.
