The Opportunity
The Lab Assistant is a key member of the 24/7 SCI Hospital team, responsible for delivering high-quality laboratory services in Rohingya Refugee Camp-21, Teknaf. S/he will support the implementation of round-the-clock laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to the standards set by the Ministry of Health and Save the Children International’s quality guidelines. Key responsibilities include collecting samples, conducting tests, generating reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment to enable accurate diagnoses. The role also involves adhering to quality assurance guidelines, managing laboratory waste, and implementing infection prevention measures. Additionally, this position will contribute to diagnostic efforts during outbreaks or emergencies, helping to maintain essential supplies and resources to deliver reliable healthcare services in this challenging environment.
