Requirements

Education
– MBA/Master’s/4 years bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Additional Requirements

Minimum 15 years of working experience in Commercial Banks of which 5 years as Head of SME or Deputy Head of SME.
Excellent relationship management skill with a focus on financial and budget requirements.
Sound knowledge of Commercial Banking, Trade Services, local regulations and exposure to SME Banking industry.

Responsibilities & Context

Develop and lead the implementation of the SME Segment strategy in line with the Bank’s Strategy; to ensure achievement of business and non-business target through branch and business unit with revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
Lead the SME Business to achieve and exceed Business goals (profit, deposit, advance) through dynamic business growth strategy and vigilant relationship within SME Market segment that is aligned with the overall Bank’s mission.
Drive branches, and business units for sustainable growth and acquisition of new customers for the SME Banking through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality advisory relationships.
To lead the SME Analyst Team for providing analytical support in the business proposals.
Drive the team to ensure strong cross-selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the Bank.
Ensure timely submission of quality credit proposals in conformity with the Credit Policy guidelines and requirements whilst leading the team for maintaining the quality of the SME portfolio within the stipulated Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.
To lead the SME Collection Team for reducing NPL, PAR and overdue.
Lead, motivate, and continuously develop a credible high performing SME Team.
