Additional Requirements
- Master’s degree, preferably Statistics/Social Science/ Development studies/ or in a relevant subject.
- At least 5 years’ experience with minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation sector under development projects.·
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Multi-disciplinary research experiences.
- Proven experience in application of monitoring methods, approaches and tools.
- Skills in ICT based PMEL tools development and use.
- Proven experience in survey design, data collection, both of qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Excellent in report writing skills for both quantitative and qualitative reporting and analytical reports and other periodic evaluation reports of the project.
- Good in ToC and log frame development for the project development purpose.
- Candidate must have willingness to drive motorbike and have valid driving license.
- Strong IT skills are essential for this role, with strong competencies in Microsoft Packages, with statistical packages and qualitative data research are an added advantage.
- Experience of multiple sub-sectors within the development field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla, including ability to present coherent and convincing messages to a wide range of audiences, with limited oversight.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and willingness to immerse within a multicultural team.
- Punctual and good at time management and strong relationship building skills
Responsibilities & Context
Data management:
- Develop online platform based key questionnaires, methods, checklists, in a nutshell, research or data collection tools for gathering required data from respondents through smart phone based softwires like Care Track, Commcare, Kobo Toolbox, ODK etc.
- Manage digital data management softwires to clean, analyze and generate analytical report.
- Orient data collectors on data collection tools as well as proper data collection techniques.
- Ensure proper data collection techniques and utmost quality of the data collected through regular checking.
Training Needs Assessment and staff capacity building:
- Assess skill gap of project field staff to find out the area of development regarding M&E issues.
- Conduct training for data collectors and field staff on Online platform-based monitoring data collection.
- Facilitate session for project staff on Reporting, learning documentation and Case story writing which will contribute to better data collection process and quality.
Monitoring and Evaluation Processes:
- Conduct pre-distribution and post-distribution survey, beneficiaries’ satisfaction survey, regular process monitoring and need-based research under the assigned project.
- In case of external consultant hiring, coordinate evaluation processes like mid-term, endline evaluation under the assigned project where process covers ToR development, PR submission, proposal sorting, conduct interview of the consultants and up to final report submission.
- In case of internal evaluation or studies, coordinate the overall process from tools development to final report generation.
Reporting, Documentation and knowledge management:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and final Reports (quantitative and qualitative), event reports and case stories.
- Conduct and prepare data quality assessment report quarterly.
- Maintain proper documentation of the project documents in the designated location.
Cordaid PMEL and Documentation System:
- Update project indicators and required information in Dev Results for assigned project(s).
- Upload respective project deliverables into Cordaid designated location timely.
Communication and Networking:
- Maintain regular communications with partners and stakeholders for collecting due reports timely and inform or invite them for regular meeting and project events.
- Maintain effective liaison with Cordaid colleagues, partners and stakeholders for smooth implementation of the project.
Integrity:
- Showcases integrity standards as outlined in Cordaid’s integrity policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Actively contributes to a safe environment within their scope of influence by encouraging dialogue, trust, and understanding and adherence to Cordaid’s integrity standards and procedures.
Other duties/additional tasks:
- Support country PMEL team to develop result framework for new projects, concepts or proposals, if needed.
- Provide need-based support to country PMEL team, if needed.
- Provide additional or need-based support to Project management team_ NABAPALLAB.
