Responsibilities & Context

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend and mobile applications.

• Integrate third-party services and APIs.

• Optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code following best practices.

• Implement and manage authentication and authorization using Laravel features (e.g., Passport, Sanctum, JWT).

• Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and handling migrations.

• Debug and troubleshoot application issues, including bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js/React/Blade) to integrate UI with backend services.

• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

• Implement unit testing and API testing using PHPUnit or Postman.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Laravel development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and RESTful API development.

• Experience with Laravel Eloquent ORM, Query Builder, and Migrations.

• Hands-on experience with Laravel Passport/Sanctum for API authentication.

• Familiarity with Redis, Queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis, Laravel Queues).

• Understanding of MVC architecture and SOLID principles.

• Experience with Git version control (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred).

• Experience in third-party API integration (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email services).

• Basic knowledge of Docker (optional but a plus).

  Context:

• Experience with frontend technologies like Vue.js, React.js, or Blade templates.

• Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or cloud deployment.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Experience in unit testing and TDD (Test-Driven Development).
