The Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven E-Commerce Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and selecting high-selling products, optimizing listings, and implementing AI-driven strategies to maximize sales and profitability across multiple e-commerce platforms. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store, ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of product research, market trends, platform-specific optimization, and Shopify store management.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI-Driven Product Research & Optimization:
- Utilize AI tools to identify high-demand, trending, and profitable products to sell on Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor strategies to uncover product opportunities.
- Use tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, and AI-powered platforms to evaluate product potential, including sales volume, competition, and profitability.
- Create and optimize product listings for SEO, conversions, and customer engagement, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.
- Manage PPC campaigns on Amazon and other platforms, including keyword research, bid optimization, and performance tracking using AI-enhanced tools.
Shopify Store & Product Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory management, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across product descriptions, images, and categories.
- Monitor and optimize site functionality, implementing new features and resolving technical issues in collaboration with developers.
- Manage and monitor Shopify apps and integrations to enhance site functionality and performance.
Content & Merchandising:
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement using customer behaviour analysis and input from the merchandise team.
- Plan and manage promotions, homepage updates, and product launches in alignment with the marketing calendar.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure site content aligns with branding, messaging, and campaigns.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of website content for accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimization.
SEO, Analytics & Optimization:
- Implement and refine SEO best practices within Shopify to improve organic search rankings.
- Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV).
- Utilize analytics tools like Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics (GA4) to generate actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
User Experience (UX) & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Optimize the online shopping journey, ensuring an intuitive and engaging customer experience.
- Conduct A/B testing, site personalization, and CRO initiatives to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
- Manage and execute website testing, ensuring functionality and performance.
CRM & Customer Retention:
- Implement and manage CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Leverage customer data to segment audiences and design targeted email marketing campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, preferences, and behavior patterns to create tailored offers and personalized experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies for re-engagement and customer loyalty initiatives, using tools like email automation and loyalty programs.
