Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 35 years

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with complex transformations and models.
• Experience managing SQL-based data transformations within a modern data warehouse.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud-based data warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift,  Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience working with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.
• Experience working with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Mode to support analytical needs.
• Background working with media companies or social platforms is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Python for data engineering tasks (or willingness to learn).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for analytics engineering.
• Exposure to streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, etc.).
• Experience with API integrations for data ingestion.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help us build, optimize, and maintain new and existing scalable data solutions for our stakeholders across the Revenue Organization. He/She will partner with Insights Leads to ensure you’re working on the most business-critical initiatives. His/her work will involve transforming raw data into well-structured, usable data models, integrating those models into our existing data architecture and BI tooling, and building data visualizations and reports to support decision-makers across the organization. He/she will also work closely with our Data team to align on best practices and ensure consistency in our engineering approaches.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SQL-based data transformations using both dbt & Google BigQuery.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable SQL and Python (or be willing to learn Python).
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Support BI and reporting tools (such as Looker and Google Sheets) needs, such as building out dashboards and spreadsheet visualizations/formulas.
• Optimize query performance and ensure best practices for data governance, security, and scalability as you work across our data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using the orchestration tool Dagster.
• Work with BigQuery & AWS to manage and optimize data storage and retrieval.
