Job Summary:

Akij Blue Pill Ltd., a leading provider of IT solutions and services in Bangladesh, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior System Engineer – Server & Storage to manage enterprise-level infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with server and storage systems, particularly with brands like Dell, HPE, and Huawei, as well as virtualization and backup solutions. The role requires someone who can deliver technical expertise in deployments, troubleshoot issues, conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), and support clients.

Core Responsibility :

Plan, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade server and storage infrastructure.

Manage and optimize systems using Dell, HPE, Huawei servers and storage.
Implement and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware or equivalent).
Deploy and configure backup solutions (Veeam/Veritas) for data protection and disaster recovery.
Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) with various vendors to validate technology solutions.
Troubleshoot complex server, storage, and virtualization issues and provide root cause analysis.
Ensure infrastructure performance, availability, and security through regular monitoring and optimization.
Support pre-sales and post-sales technical requirements, including solution design, technical evaluation, and client presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network, Security, and Support for seamless infrastructure operations.
Document system configurations, procedures, and knowledge base materials.

Core Expertise:

Strong hands-on experience with Dell, HPE, Huawei hardware platforms.
Expertise in VMware virtualization.
Proficient in backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam or Veritas.
Capability to conduct and lead POC initiatives with third-party vendors.
Solid understanding of server & storage architecture, SAN/NAS, RAID, and iSCSI.
Skilled in client communication, technical evaluation, and providing timely support.
