Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a reputed Public University.
Candidates graduated from BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET, or other reputed public universities will be preferred.
Experience
8 to 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Textile
Additional Requirements
Age 34 to 45 years
Only Male
Experience in Knitting, Dyeing, Textile, Garments, or other large-scale manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in HT/LT systems, substation, transformer, generator, industrial electrical maintenance, and utility systems.
Proven experience in leading and managing an electrical/engineering team is required.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and competent Manager – Electrical to lead and manage the electrical operations of our Garments, Knitting & Dyeing Factory. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted power supply, efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems, compliance with statutory and safety requirements, and effective management of the electrical team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and manage all electrical operations of the Garments, Knitting & Dyeing factory.
Ensure uninterrupted and reliable power supply to production and utility areas.
Manage and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, substations, transformers, generators, MCC/PCC panels, switchgear, motors, pumps, compressors, and other electrical equipment.
Monitor and ensure proper operation and preventive maintenance of electrical machinery and utility equipment.
Prepare and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
Troubleshoot electrical faults and take immediate corrective action to minimize production downtime.
Monitor electrical energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy saving and cost reduction.
Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety of generators, transformers, electrical panels, cables, and distribution systems.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Utility, Engineering, EHS, and other departments to ensure smooth factory operations.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh electrical rules, fire and safety requirements, environmental standards, and applicable customer/audit requirements.
Maintain necessary electrical records, maintenance reports, load schedules, equipment history, and energy consumption data.
Supervise, develop, and evaluate the performance of electrical engineers, supervisors, technicians, and workers.
Manage electrical spare parts, inventory, procurement requirements, and maintenance budgets.
Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, utility service providers, and government authorities when required.
Lead electrical projects, installation, commissioning, capacity expansion, and factory modification works.
Ensure safe working practices and conduct regular inspections of electrical installations.
Prepare regular reports for top management regarding electrical maintenance, breakdowns, energy consumption, projects, and improvement initiatives.
