    Essential Requirements:

    The Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship Officer will lead the training under Dhaka North Hub of USAID Bijoyee Activity team for achieving having:

    • Understanding of design curriculum and facilitation for soft skills training 

    • Strengthen youth leadership through targeted support of local youth-led and youth-serving organizations to promote youth participation as decision-makers and key contributors to individual, household, community, and national well-being. 

    • Strengthen youth systems, in partnership with youth, to provide more coordinated and effective services, practices, and policies that embody the principles of BYLC.

    Responsibilities & Context

    The Access to Finance and Entrepreneurship Officer, based in Dhaka North Hub under the USAID Bijoyee Activity of BYLC, will work with CARE Bangladesh and partners to empower Bangladeshi youth through entrepreneurship, employment, and skill-building initiatives. This role focuses on identifying and creating entrepreneurship opportunities, ensuring access to finance, conducting local market mapping, and providing training in business planning, financial management, and marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support and promote BYLC’s strategies, project goals, policies, and guidelines to maintain organizational standards.

    • Uphold BYLC’s core values (Integrity, Respect, Empathy, Excellence, Continuous Development, and Adaptive Leadership).

    • Conduct market analysis to identify entrepreneurship opportunities, gaps, and industry trends.

    • Design and implement programs to enhance young entrepreneurs’ access to finance, collaborating with key stakeholders.

    • Provide training, technical assistance, and resources to support young entrepreneurs in business skills.

    • Offer mentorship, guidance, and connections for young entrepreneurs to aid in their business growth.

    • Establish and track performance metrics for access to finance and entrepreneurship programs.

    • Foster team development through regular feedback, goal-setting, and inter-departmental collaboration.
