Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Experience
-
- At least 10 years
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 33 years
- Must have Garment/Textile-related Work experience.
- Excellent time management skills and supply chain management.
- Good communication & presentation skills.
- Must have good computer knowledge.
Responsibilities & Context
- To perform all Supply Chain activities, including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, and preparation of contracts.
- To liaise with key company employees/departments to determine product and service needs.
- To lead the Local SCM/Procurement Team.ยท
- Having good knowledge of fabrics and materials, dyeing & printing of textiles, garments washing & garments dyeing.
- To support any fabric quality issues at the stage of sourcing, development, sample making, testing, and approval of color.
- To evaluate and analyze fabric quality between buyer’s standard and textile products.
- To provide a specific report on the textile, having all the information from buyer ‘s requirements as well as have to keep all the records of textile quality parameters.
- To give technical assistance to the fabric sourcing team and merchandiser.
- To train and develop fabric suppliers to get good-quality fabric for the garment factory.
- To claim fabric replacement in case of quality failure from fabric suppliers, mentioning the proper reasons in a format through the merchandiser.
- To maintain all the documents of fabric inspection & lab test reports.
