Responsibilities & Context

1. Lesson Planning: Designing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the institution’s curriculum and educational goals, incorporating Islamic teachings.
2. Instruction: Teaching Arabic language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) to junior students, using effective teaching methodologies suited to their age and proficiency levels.
3. Islamic Integration: Integrating Quranic verses, Hadiths, and Islamic values into Arabic lessons to deepen students’ understanding of the language in its religious context.
4. Student Assessment: Assessing regularly students through quizzes, tests, oral exams, and assignments, and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills.
5. Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages respect, attentiveness, and a love for learning.
6. Differentiated Instruction: Tailoring instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring that each child can progress at their own pace.
7. Parental Engagement: Communicating with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and ways they can support their learning at home.
8. Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and developments in Arabic language instruction and Islamic education.
9. Resource Development: Creating and using various teaching aids, including worksheets, multimedia tools, and interactive activities, to make learning more effective and enjoyable.
10. Extra-curricular Activities: Organizing and participating in extra-curricular activities such as Quranic recitation competitions, Islamic cultural events, Sunday Activities to further enrich the students’ educational experience.
11. Collaboration: Working with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience, sharing best practices and resources.
12. Administrative Duties: Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
13. Moral and Ethical Guidance: Providing moral and ethical guidance in line with Islamic values, acting as a role model for students in both academic and personal conduct.
