Responsibilities & Context

The main objective of the Assistant General Manager (Production and MDM) is to plan, organize, direct, and follow up on day-to-day production/operations and ensure the continuous development of this unit through best practices.

• Make planning of producing all kinds, maintenance and R & D works schedule by keeping in mind relevant constraints such as time and cost.
• Work closely with all production sections and quality personnel to ensure the quality of products.
• Review conventional methods of schedules for the section and suggest the new technology to ensure the growth of product development.
• Research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. Identify and remove constraints to make optimistic use of man, machine and material.
• Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
• Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
• Prepare daily mold and production report and submit to reporting personnel.
• Maintain and keep records of regular material consumption.
• Prepare comparison report of Output v/s Material consumption.
• Generate material requisition considering approval of requisition as well as lead time after approval for both local and import material.
