Responsibilities & Context
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production processes to improve overall productivity.
- Design efficient workplace layouts to ensure smooth material flow and minimize unnecessary movements.
- Develop production schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
- Implement effective production control measures to prevent delays and bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Implement processes to detect and address defects or issues in the production line.
- Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Determine the production capacity of the factory and plan for capacity expansion as needed.
- Ensure that production levels align with the factory’s capacity.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.
- Create SOPs and implement them.
- Design manpower utilization planning and implement to reduce overheads.
