Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager of the Dhaka Gastro Liver Center is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and operation of the center, ensuring the highest standards of healthcare service delivery, and operational efficiency. The Assistant Manager will lead the team, manage finances, enhance patient satisfaction, and ensure continuous improvement in diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dhaka Gastro Liver Center, including Doctor Scheduling, Patient Appoint management, and other diagnostic services.
  • Ensure that the center operates in compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Implement efficient workflows to reduce patient wait times and optimize the use of equipment and personnel.
  • Monitor and improve patient satisfaction and service quality through feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage the center’s financial performance by preparing and overseeing budgets, controlling costs, and driving revenue growth.
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the profitability of the center.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency without compromising service quality.
  • Develop strategies to expand services and improve market share.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise medical, technical, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, setting performance expectations, and providing regular feedback and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure staff compliance with medical standards, protocols, and continuing education requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the patient experience, ensuring customer-centric service delivery.
  • Address and resolve any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and develop relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community organizations to grow referral networks and patient base.
  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to promote the diagnostic center’s services.
  • Lead initiatives for service expansion, new technology adoption, and new market opportunities.
  • Ensure all diagnostic equipment is maintained, calibrated, and serviced regularly for optimal performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in diagnostic technology and recommend the procurement of new equipment when necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the directors on the center’s operational and financial performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as patient volumes, diagnostic accuracy, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
