Responsibilities & Context

The Assistant Manager of Branding and Communication will support the strategic development and execution of branding initiatives across three individual e-commerce platforms. This role involves assisting in the creation and implementation of comprehensive branding and communication plans that enhance brand visibility, foster customer loyalty, and support overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital branding, strong communication skills, and experience in e-commerce environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing cohesive brand strategies for each e-commerce platform, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and market positioning.·
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation.·
  • Support the creation and oversight of communication plans that effectively convey the brand’s message and values to target audiences.·
  • Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, corporate announcements, and crisis communications.·
  • Assist in the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including social media, websites, blogs, and email marketing.·
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.·
  • Support the development and execution of strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive positive brand perception.·
  • Implement brand campaigns and initiatives that generate engagement and foster a strong connection with the audience.·
  • Work closely with senior management, marketing teams, and other departments to align branding and communication strategies with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners.·
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of branding and communication efforts using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.·
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on campaign performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.·
  • Lead and mentor a team of branding and communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.·
  • Support team members’ professional growth and development through coaching and feedback.·
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and communication.·
  • Introduce innovative approaches and techniques to keep the brand’s communication strategy fresh and relevant.
  • Internal & External Relationship:
  • Internal: Senior Management and Executive Team, Marketing Team, Product and E-Commerce Teams, Creative and Design Teams, Public Relations and Media Relations Teams, and HR.
  • External: Media Outlets and Journalists, Influencers and Brand Ambassadors, Customers and Consumers, Industry Partners and Vendors, Investors and Shareholders, and Regulatory and Industry Bodies.
