Responsibilities & Context
US Bangla Airlines Ltd, the largest private airline in the country, is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager for its Catering Department. The details of the position are mentioned below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise activities of the Production and Operation Sections of the Catering Department.
- Coordinate with the production section to ensure the timely delivery of food items as per flight requirements.
- Prepare food menus for passengers and crew in accordance with international standards.
- Ensure all employees adhere to food hygiene and personal hygiene standards strictly.
- Take action based on customer feedback to improve service quality.
- Coordinate with other departments for continuous improvement.
- Maintain liaison/contact with all domestic and foreign stations.
- Ensure the availability of inventories across all units.
- Provide spot briefings to subordinates regarding the daily/weekly operational plan.
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower for optimum utilization.
- Prepare the monthly duty roster for subordinates.
- Check flight reports and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Prepare and submit various reports to management as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by higher management.
