Additional Requirements

Must be knowledgeable of garments construction and costing, specifically Woven fabric properties, fabric printing, and surface applications (e.g., heat transfer, embroideries, screen-printing), Kidswear product safety and integrity.
Must have extensive experience of product development, sourcing of materials, costing, production tracking and execution of orders independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire merchandising process from product development, order confirmation, and sampling to shipment of woven garments.
Liaise with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams (production, quality, etc.) to ensure timely execution of orders.
Handle product costing, price negotiations, and prepare cost breakdown sheets.
Monitor and ensure the timely development of samples and prototypes.
Coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines while maintaining product quality standards.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, buyer preferences, and competitor strategies.
Maintain strong communication with buyers to provide updates on production status, quality checks, and delivery schedules.
Monitor inventory levels, order quantities, and ensure materials availability for production.
