Education
- Master Degree in the respective discipline with minimum three first class /division and 02 (two) publications in recognised journals as per UGC guidelines.
- At least 3 (three) years university-level teaching and research experience.

Responsibilities & Context
Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor in the following departments on prevailing terms and conditions of USTC.
- Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS)
Job Responsibilities
- Teaching Undergraduate and Graduate courses as per USTC rules;
- Undertaking research, organise workshops in the Faculty and develop national/ international inter-university collaboration.
- Maintaining documentation as per requirement of UGC, BAC etc;
- Preparing course outline, lesson plan, lecture materials, tutorial and schedule for students and conduct theoretical, tutorial and lab classes, extension teaching, related research and cooperative field experience;
- Conducting Examinations and related tasks;
- Guiding and supervising project work, internship, dissertation or thesis;
- Guiding and supervising students to perform co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Carrying out administrative tasks assigned by the Authority time to time.
- Conducting research and experiments to advance knowledge in the concerned fields with publications.
