Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
The Asst. Officer / Officer – Cutting (Sports Shoes) is responsible for overseeing the cutting operations within the production department. This role ensures that materials are accurately and efficiently cut according to design specifications, contributing to the overall quality and production targets of the sports shoe manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material cutting, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise the cutting of materials for sports shoes according to design specifications and production schedules for ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of cut pieces and address any discrepancies or defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues to prevent downtime.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels of cutting materials and ensure timely requisition to avoid production delays.
- Ensure all cutting activities comply with health and safety regulations and compliances.
