Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production
Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification will be an added advantage.
Training/certification in Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) is preferred.
Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) is desirable.
Professional training in TPM, 5S, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement is desirable.

Production planning, process optimization, and cost control.
Knowledge of machinery operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of QC, HSE, ISO, and environmental compliance.
Ability to analyze production data, yield, wastage, and efficiency.
Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Role Overview:
The Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall production operations of the PET recycling flakes and resin manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient, safe, cost-effective, and uninterrupted production while meeting quality standards, production targets, and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Planning & Operations: Plan and control daily, weekly, and monthly production activities from raw material receiving to finished rPET resin, ensuring production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
Process Control: Control production formulations, blending ratios, process parameters, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure stable and efficient production.
Quality Management: Establish quality standards for raw materials, PET flakes, in-process materials, and finished rPET resin. Ensure compliance with applicable GRS, FDA, EFSA, ISO 9001:2015, and HACCP requirements.
Quality Control & Testing: Monitor critical parameters including IV, moisture, color/Lab values, PVC/polyolefin contamination, black spots, and foreign materials to ensure product specifications are consistently maintained.
Manpower Management: Supervise, train, and schedule workers, operators, and line supervisors to maintain productivity, discipline, safety, and operational efficiency.
Maintenance Coordination: Monitor production machinery and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, environmental standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Cost & Resource Control: Monitor raw materials, chemicals, utilities, spare parts, production losses, scrap, yield, and operating costs to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
KPI & Performance Monitoring: Analyze production, yield, scrap, downtime, energy consumption, and quality performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Reporting & Management: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production/quality reports and communicate key issues, performance, corrective actions, and recommendations to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve productivity, product quality, yield, cost efficiency, safety, and overall plant performance.
