Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist – International to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with international purchase and contracting portals, handling international trade documents, and developing business strategies for global markets. The candidate must possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively read, draft, and review international business documents and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand business in international markets through effective use of international purchase and contracting portals.

  • Manage the entire international purchasing process, including drafting and negotiating contracts and purchase agreements.

  • Review and interpret complex international business documents, including contracts, purchase orders, and trade agreements.

  • Draft, edit, and review business proposals, contracts, and agreements in English for international stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with international clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth business operations and compliance with global regulations.

  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to optimize import/export processes, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.

  • Ensure all documentation complies with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in global markets.

  • Participate in negotiations with international clients and vendors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

  • Communicate effectively with global partners, internal teams, and legal departments to ensure clarity and alignment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in international business development, purchasing, or contracting.

  • Experience working with international purchase and contracting portals.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft, review, and edit business documents and contracts.

  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance.

  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with international partners.

  • Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in global trade management software, ERP systems, and other business tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection for seamless communication and remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of international commercial terms (Incoterms) and shipping documentation.

  • Experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and customs regulations.

  • Multilingual abilities are a plus. Professional certifications in international trade, procurement, or business development.
