Additional Requirements

Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Retail Category Merchandising.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior.

• Category Strategy:

Develop season-wise product lines and execute complete merchandising plans to optimize sales, margins, and inventory turnover.
Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

• Vendor Management:

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional terms with suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

• Merchandising Execution:

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

Monitor category performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on category trends and performance.

• Team Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of category objectives with company goals.
Provide training and support to showroom teams on category-specific products and strategies.
